01 / Principles

Four principles shaping how G-STIC works.

Governance is not an additional administrative layer. It is how we protect credibility, role boundaries, and accountability.

01

Scientific integrity

Protecting research integrity and the credibility of the scholarly record.

02

Editorial independence

Corporate and technical support never replaces journal editorial authority.

03

Transparency

Policies, roles, and governance boundaries are made visible and understandable.

04

Accountability

Responsibilities and review points are defined so decisions can be traced.

02 / PUBLIC TRUST REGISTRY

Policies built to be traceable and reviewable.

The registry lists policies that have reached Published status. Journal-specific operational policies remain within each journal’s own site and editorial structure.

G-STIC / REGISTRY

Formal policies appear after completing the review lifecycle and reaching Published status.

03 / Governance Boundary

Strong support without taking over editorial decisions.

G-STIC provides the corporate framework, infrastructure, technology, and operational support. Editorial authority remains with the relevant journal.
